Ransomware is a type of malware
(malicious software) which installs by cyber criminals on your computer so they
can bolt it from a distant place. Usually it generates a pop-up window, email
or webpage alert from what looks like an administrator right. It will explain
that your computer has been lock because of potential unlawful actions on it,
and requires payment before your access in your files and program again.
How it enters?
Usually Ransomware use to install
while opening a malicious email attachment or by clicking a malicious link in
the email message or instant message or the social networking site or other
website. It normally broadcast like a conventional computer worm, entering a
system via a downloaded file or susceptibility in a network service. Then the
program will run a payload: such as one that will start to encrypt private
files on the hard drive.
