1. Open the Web version of Gmail then open the “Ad Settings” page. You can do this in two ways first by find any text ad banner, and then you find a notation “Why this Ad” on the right side. Second, you can only click on the Ad Preference page.
2. In the Ad Settings page, click on the “control your ad settings” link. After that scroll down to the bottom of the page where it shows message “Opt out of interest-based ads on Google.”
3: after clicking on this link, Gmail ask you for confirmation. Press on “Opt out” option. Now you are completely free from anytargeted ad banners on your emails anymore.
